Rehabilitation Programme Overview

A Rehabilitation Programme is often referred to as Phase III, this can be quite confusing, I remember asking myself "did I miss something?" and "what happened to Phase I & II, have I gone straight to the advanced class?"

The reason that the Rehabilitation starts at Phase III is quite simple, Phase I is the initial recovery period spent in hospital and Phase II is the recovery time spent at home immediately afterwards, hence Phase III is the first phase spent within a hospital gym environment.

For this very reason "HeartBeat Support Woking / Bravehearts Cardiac Rehabilitation" (which follows on from Phase III) is often referred to as Phase IV Rehab.
